The 2023 Harmar Days Festival is Almost Here

After a succesful 2022 Harmar Days Festival, we took a few months off to rest, relax and recuperate. Put together by a dedicated team of volunteers and run by the festival planning committee with the help of our entire Historic Harmar Bridge Board and about a dozen wonderful community volunteers, the three day festival in the heart of Harmar Village was a scene of food, fun and laugther. And one exhausted festival chairwoman who walked just under 26.50 miles over the weekend. Here’s what you missed or contributed to during the 2022 festival weekend: we debuted a new sponsorship propgram that yielded 26 monetary sponsors, had 38 local area businesses, craft vendors and individuals donate items to our country store, sold 875 raffle tickets, welcomed 12 local bands and artists to the Harmar Village Stage, sold 1,536 adult beverages and had an estimated attendance of 12,000 guests. The money raised at the 2022 Festival has been used to improve the festival area, cover 2023 festival and raffle costs, apply for three grants and keep the momentum going to revitalize and reopen the Historic Harmar Bridge.

The 2023 Harmar Days Festival is less than three weeks away and is growing every single year. Here is what you can expect to find over the July 28th, 29th and 30th weekend: 8 food trucks, 5 beers on tap, 2 hard seltzers, 16 craft vendors, 5 live art demonstrations, 14 different bands on stage rotating every 1.5 hours, a petting zoo, kids zone compelete with carnival games and inflatables, a Saturday morning car show, one much needed stretching class and a grand raffle being drawn all day Sunday afternoon with a total value of over $75,000 and with 10 different chances to win. Those that are interested in purchasing a raffle ticket can do so up until 12:00pm on Sunday, July 30th.
